Pause. Prove. Protect.™ Digital Safety Program helps organizations close the gap between cybersecurity and human behavior as AI makes scams and digital deception increasingly difficult to recognize

PORTLAND, ORE - AI Communications Consulting today announced the launch of Pause. Prove. Protect.™, a digital safety education program designed to help people build safer habits as artificial intelligence transforms scams, impersonation, fraud, and digital deception.

Launching in September with senior living communities, the program is also being developed for financial services and hospitality organizations seeking to strengthen the human layer of their fraud-prevention and digital safety efforts.

“AI is making it increasingly easy to create convincing emails, text messages, images, video, and voice impersonations,” said Langley Allbritton, founder of AI Communications Consulting and creator of Pause. Prove. Protect. program. “While cybersecurity technologies can identify and block many threats, they cannot control a critical point of vulnerability: the moment a person decides whether to click, respond, share information, trust a request, or send money.”

Pause. Prove. Protect. was created specifically to strengthen that human decision point.

“Organizations have invested heavily in protecting systems, networks, and data, but even the best technology can’t make every decision for us,” she continued. “As AI makes it harder to distinguish what’s real from what’s fabricated, we need to complement better technology with better human habits.”

One Habit Designed for a Changing Threat Landscape

Rather than asking people to remember how to respond to an ever-growing list of scams, Pause. Prove. Protect. reinforces one simple, repeatable framework:

PAUSE

before reacting to urgency, emotion, or an unexpected request.

PROVE

the person, message, or request is legitimate using another trusted method.

PROTECT

your personal information, your data, and your finances.

The program is designed to empower rather than frighten people and emphasizes confidence, verification, and personal agency.

Unlike traditional one-time presentations or annual training, Pause. Prove. Protect. uses an ongoing, ambient education model designed to reinforce protective behaviors throughout the year.

Program subscribers receive access to a digital safety dashboard with rollout strategies and ready-to-use educational content that can be incorporated into existing communications channels. Content is informed by emerging consumer AI developments, cybersecurity updates, government guidance, and seasonal and evolving scam trends.

Pause. Prove. Protect. is initially being offered across three sectors:

Senior Living and Aging Services:

Helping residents, families, and staff recognize manipulation, reinforce verification habits, and protect independence without creating fear around technology.

Financial Services:

Helping organizations strengthen the behavioral layer of fraud prevention by educating customers and employees before a fraudulent transaction or disclosure occurs.

Hospitality:

Helping organizations educate employees and guests about increasingly sophisticated impersonation, payment, booking, account, and communications scams.

“Scams will continue to change as AI evolves,” Allbritton said. “Our goal isn’t to teach people every scam. It’s to keep people informed and build a simple, protective habit they can use to make safer decisions for themselves, their families, and their communities.”
